Since its establishment in 1982 Lift Specialists Ltd have developed a positive reputation within the lift industry for professional delivery, aiming our strategic business model at the needs of our clients and the ultimate end users.
This mentality has continued as we have grown to our current success, but never have we let our values change, and in some ways the present senior management team sees these values as the reason for our ongoing success, even throughout the last few years of global challenges.

Lift Specialists Ltd believe strongly that their responsibility as a modern caring and sustainable business, goes to its very core.
So we not only work with local and national charitable enterprises where we can, we also focus on our commitment to our customers, the wellbeing of our employees and the impact our business activities have on the environment.

The basis of our sustainability policy and practices are these four themes:
Energy: Reducing energy consumption, being more energy efficient and using renewable energy and ‘alternative technology’
Materials: Choosing, using, re-using and recycling materials during design, manufacture, construction and maintenance to reduce resource requirements
Waste: Producing less waste and recycling more
Pollution: Producing less toxicity, water, noise and spacial pollution

Moving on from the 2015 introduction of Hybrid vehicles, Lift Specialists Ltd took the bold move to introduce fully electric cars to the fleet portfolio, this has been supplemented with onsite EV charging facilities.

Olly Voutt promoted to Managing Director, joining Mark Lander and John Day as shareholding Directors.


2015
After consultation between senior management and the companies support teams, plans were put in place to start phase1 of a green project, this entailed the introduction of Hybrid cars.
