Project Manager Vacancy

Lift Specialists Ltd are looking to recruit a Project Manager to join their Installation/Modernisation team. 
This self-sufficient and responsible role will entail managing major projects from point of order, through design, installation and final account. 
You will have the ability to manage complex and varied multiple projects safely, on-time, to specification and to client satisfaction. This role also requires excellent planning abilities, together with strong commercial and financial awareness. 
Reporting to the Construction Manager/Director, your key responsibilities will include:
  • Effective managament of the field labour team to include Engineers, Suppliers and Subcontractors
  • Management of safety performance, including Tool Box Talks, Method Statements and Risk Assessments
  • Production of Project programmes and financial control, including the review of order packages and contracts, margin management, accurate forecasts. 
You will possess a good degree of IT literacy, including Excel, MS Project, Word and Outlook. Your personal attributes will include: determination, adaptability, organisation, effective communication, ability to remain calm under pressure, problem solving and delegation skills. You will also be commercially astute.
Previous experience of Project Managament within the Lift or Construction Industry is essential, as is a full UK Driving Licence.

Lift Engineer Vacancy

Lift Specialists Ltd are looking to recruit qualified Lift Engineers to join their Installation/Modernisation department. 
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to Company Installation and Safety procedures
  • Installation of all equipment to meet the Company\'s criteria of Installation-Time Efficiency, Safety, Profitability, Quality and Reliability
  • Liaise with Project Managers in the day to day running of the Project
  • Completion and submmision of all relevant paperwork i.e. timsheeets, safety audits, site folders, Waste Transfer Notes etc.
  • Maintain any Company issued equipment to an acceptable standard
  • Maintain good house keeping on site
Qualifications and Previous Experience:
  • NVQ3 or equivalent certification in Lift Engineering
  • Previous experience in a simiar role
  • Effective communicator
  • Full Driving Licence

Lift Engineer Assistant Vacancy

Lift Specialists Ltd are looking to recruit Lift Engineer Mates/Assistants to join their Installation/Modernisation department.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • To assist the Lift Engineer in Installing and Refurbishing a varied range of lifts. 
  • Working closely with both the Engineer and Project Manager to ensure works are carried out on time.
  • Ensure all work is carried out on line with Company H&S Policy and procedures.
Skills, Qualities and Previous Experience:
  • Computer Literate
  • Qualified to GCSE level
  • Previous Construction Site experience
  • Understanding of Health and Safety
  • Optimistic and willing to learn
  • Have an aptitude for mechanical or electrical work
  • Punctual and reliable
  • Good Communication and Customer Care skills
