Lift Engineer Vacancy

Lift Specialists Ltd are looking to recruit qualified Lift Engineers to join their Installation/Modernisation department. 
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to Company Installation and Safety procedures
  • Installation of all equipment to meet the Company\'s criteria of Installation-Time Efficiency, Safety, Profitability, Quality and Reliability
  • Liaise with Project Managers in the day to day running of the Project
  • Completion and submmision of all relevant paperwork i.e. timsheeets, safety audits, site folders, Waste Transfer Notes etc.
  • Maintain any Company issued equipment to an acceptable standard
  • Maintain good house keeping on site
Qualifications and Previous Experience:
  • NVQ3 or equivalent certification in Lift Engineering
  • Previous experience in a simiar role
  • Effective communicator
  • Full Driving Licence

Lift Service & Repair Engineer Vacancies

Lift Specialists Ltd are looking to recruit Lift Service Engineers and Repair Engineers to join the service department.

 Job Role Summary

 To service / repair and maintain a varied range of lifts.

 Key Responsibilities and Tasks

  • Ensure all work is carried out safely in line with company H&S policy and procedures
  • Update written and computerised work records
  • Ensure reports are sent back daily to the office
  • Carry out routine checks
  • Make minor repairs or isolate problems until a service can be carried out
  • Respond to emergency breakdown call-outs
  • Identify recurring problems

 PERSONAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, OR QUALITIES:

  • Understanding of Health & Safety
    • Optimistic and willing to learn
    • Have an aptitude for electrical and/or mechanical work
    • Punctual and reliable
    • Have good communication and customer care skills
    • Be willing to work flexibly
    • Enthusiastic and proactive attitude
    • Works well in a team
    • Be able to understand engineering drawings and principles
    • Be able to plan and organise workloads
    • Have excellent troubleshooting skills
    • Be able to work without close supervision
    • IT skills for updating records and writing reports

  TECHNICAL SKILLS OR KNOWLEDGE:

  •  Computer Literate
  • Numerical, written, communication and verbal skills
  • Previous site experience

  QUALIFICATIONS

  •  NVQ Level 3 or relevant experience
  • Clean Driving Licence
